Highland Heights, KY This project was a part of NKU’s renovation of one of the two oldest buildings on the campus.  It included a 5 story structural steel frame fabricated by Geiger & Peters.  This project had three unique aspects: one being the first project completed with the additional requirement for the erector to provide it’s own indpenedent testing services, the second being the requirement for a State of Kentucky Engineered Erection Plan with a Peer Review, and the third was the way (4)   2 3/4″ diameter rods were used to support the 2nd and 3rd floor balcany’s from a 60′ W44x262 beam at the roof level....

Georgetown, KY Ben Hur was contracted to erect the new Research facility at the Toyota Georgetown plant.  The project included a 2 story office area and  a 100,000 sq ft high bay lab area complete with an overhead crane bay.  The structure consisted of beam and column framing for levels 1 and 2 with bar joists to finish out the roof framing. The project also included brick angle on the office side of the structure and tube steel girts on the lab area....
